You have come so far. I am sorry for the horror. As I read I thought that no one can ever really understand fully that day as you experienced it and yet then as I began to try and gather my thoughts to know what to write, I realized that Thank God there is One Who does fully know so that you do not have to fully carry this alone. It's a powerful poem.
